Site Navigation – How to Shop On-Line

We have tried to make shopping with the Spencer Collection as easy as possible.  Simply follow these simple step by step instructions below.

The Homepage
This gives access to the entire site.  From here you can browse products, start shopping, manage your shopping baskets, look at our most popular and new products.  On the Homepage you can also checkout our latest news items and subscribe to receive our free newsletter to ensure you are the first to hear about our latest offers and information about us.

To return to the home page simply click Home on the left hand menu bar under Company information.

Searching for a product
The Spencer Collection have developed the site so you can find your products  with the minimum amount of clicks as possible. The site has been divided into various different categories to help with navigation. The main menu is always visible on the left-hand side of your screen to allow you to move easily from  one product group to another.  Each category may have sub categories, each with a portfolio of products for you to browse through.  There is also a quick search facility in the top left- hand corner of your screen where you can search using any word.
If your first search is unsuccessful, try using just one or two keywords. For example, if you searched for "Burgon and Ball Watering Can" without results, try typing just "Burgon and Ball"; or just “watering can” then locate the specific item you want among the retrieved results. 

How to get further product information
The majority of our products have accurate images detailing the product. These images are a reliable indication of quality.  Once a portfolio of products has appeared on the screen, click on an image to view more comprehensive details about the product including sizes, materials, etc. You will have the option of adding it to your shopping basket at this point.

Shopping basket
When you have located the products you want to purchase, you can add them to your shopping basket by clicking  “Add” next to the product description.  This will take you through to your shopping basket screen where you can adjust the quantities required then press “update basket” button.  If you wish to continue shopping click the “Back to Store” button and continue shopping.

You can view your shopping basket at any time during shopping by clicking the “View Cart” button in the top right hand corner of the screen.  This also details your current basket total and number of items in your basket.

You can change your mind about the products you want at any point until your credit card details have been entered and you have confirmed you wish to make the purchase.

The shopping basket icon shows you exactly which products you have selected to purchase and the total cost of all these items including delivery. It also provides the option to proceed to the checkout.

Removing Items from Your Cart
To remove an item from your shopping cart, click the "Remove" button located next to the appropriate product. When you delete an item, its price is automatically deducted from your total cost.

Checkout
When you have selected all your products, Click on "View Basket" at the top of the page, then click “Go to Checkout” to purchase the items in your basket. Please read and confirm our terms and conditions before proceeding with payment.
Once you have proceeded to the checkout, you will see notification that you are entering a secure server.
