Standard UK Delivery

Standard Delivery

Our standard delivery charges are detailed below for UK Mainland orders only.
For orders weighing 2Kg or less the delivery charge will be £2.95 per order.
For orders over 2Kg  the delivery charge will be £5.95 per order.
Please note the order weight will be automatically calculated through our web site and will be given in the checkout section.  You will also have the option to upgrade to your preferred delivery method at this point.
Exceptions
Prices given are for UK mainland addresses. Delivery to Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, the Scottish Isles and Highlands, Republic of Ireland, the Isle of Man, and the Isle of Wight may incur an extra charge.  The extra cost for these items will depend on the products being despatched and the courier option we need to use. You can process your order as normal if an extra charge does apply, we will contact you with a quote for your area. If this is unacceptable you can cancel your order.

Speed of Delivery

Orders will be processed within 24 hours of receipt during normal working hours.  Goods will be packed and despatched within 2 working days.  Expected delivery within 5 – 7 working days.

For larger items like furniture please allow 28 days for delivery.

Method of Despatch

Your order will be sent by Royal Mail, Parcelforce or a private courier company. The method of despatch will be determined by the size and weight of the parcel.

Receipt of Goods

If you are not in when the courier tries to deliver, they will either leave your goods in a safe place, or usually leave a card letting you know there has been an unsuccessful delivery attempt and giving you a number to call to rearrange delivery or an address from which you can collect the parcel.
You can request delivery on a specific date, we can usually attempt to deliver on that day, however we are dependent on our carriers and therefore we cannot guarantee delivery on a specific date. For this reason, we'd rather you didn't take a day off work to wait in for the couriers: a better alternative is to have the order sent to a work address.

Signing for Goods

Goods do not necessarily need to be signed for.  If an item is signed for please check it is not obviously damaged.  We suggest that you sign for the goods unchecked.  This will give us the ability to claim on your behalf for any damaged items.

You will become the owner of the goods you ordered and responsible for risk of loss of or damage to them once they have been delivered to you. 

Damaged Goods or Shortages

If goods are obviously damaged on receipt and you have to sign for them please sign for them as damaged so we can claim from our courier. Please inform us of any damage within 24 hour of receipt.

All orders are double checked however if any picking errors occur please inform us within 48 hours from receipt of the order.

Out of Stock Items

When you place your order on our website, you will be informed whether the product is in stock.  If the item you have ordered is temporarily out of stock, we will advise you of an expected delivery date.  You will then have the opportunity of leaving the item on back order, selecting another product or cancelling the item.  We cannot accept liability for late receipt of goods due to delays from manufacturers or shipping companies, with all expected delivery dates given as a guide only.  We reserve the right to cancel any back orders.

Multiple Addresses

If you wish to send products to more than one address, please place a separate order for each address. A separate charge will apply to each delivery address.
Deliveries Abroad
We will happily send orders overseas but you will need to call to obtain a quote for shipping.

Urgent Orders

If your order is required for a particular date, we will do all we can to help subject to any agreed additional charge.

Saturday Delivery

This can be arranged but an additional charge will be made depending on the items in question.  Please call our customer services department and we will be pleased to advise you.

Heavy Items

Some items on our site are very heavy and we may need help to unload these items at the delivery address. This will be clearly marked on the website beside the product information. These items will either be sent via our own transport or our suppliers transport and we will contact you to arrange a time-window for delivery. Unfortunately, this method of delivery is very expensive so we will need to make sure that you are actually there to receive the order.  If we attempt delivery at a pre agreed time and date and you are not in or have insufficient helpers to unload, we may need to charge you a minimum of £75 for each failed delivery.
